Ahoy O' ship, been waiting for you to get through
but, wait a minute" you are here-
For faith is believing, in what you already prayed
so why should you doubt or fear

Though it's been a long wait, but God's not late
He has always been on time
And though the waters were rough, he did his stuff
for his word it was your sign

So pick up your luggage and get yourself ready
it's feast time, now get your plate
He has much to give, that hands can't hold
and not a second will be late

O' ship your God he did turn the tables;
took the waves and bid them to go
And those hovering storm clouds he did clear up-
everything had to cease it's flow

He told the deep to stay in it's place
and the rushing winds to stand still
And the dark nights he said let it now be bright
and they had to obey his will

Not one time did the ship spring one leak
nor any boards did lose it's place
And her sails of faith, did not blow down
for we kept them before God's face

Your strong oars they never once did stop
for the word was beneath of them
And with every stroke, you had strength to cope
whenever it was dark and dim

The Lord was your shelter the whole way through
and he would not let you to fail
For he had grace and mercy, on the ships trip
that is why it had to prevail

Ahoy O' ship let us take to the shore
it is time to reap and gain
After long, long, nights and lingering days
but know it was not in-vain

Nothing can stop it for it's gone before
so rejoice and lift your hands up high
For this is the day, that the Lord has made
and he most surly did come by
