O' grace, O' grace Thank God you came
to set my weary soul free
You came in time to pick me up
and spoke these words to me

I found you wondering sad and lost
with not a friend to comfort you
I extended my hands with bands of love
so to make your life brand new

Love did reach down from heaven above
when I was sinking low
You loosed the bonds from my sinful heart
and you made my life to glow

O' grace, O' grace I'm glad you came
for my world was torn apart
But God sent his Son to ransom my soul
and now he's living in my heart
