Lord let your angels camp aroung your children
so they can keep them safe each day
Lord let them be there in wherever they go
to lead and guide their way

Lord let their wings cover them like a blanket
let them cuddle them day and night
And while asleep, let them shine overhead
Lord just let them be their light

Lord when things in their lives fall out of place
let them give them some strength
To tackle it by force, with your power and might
so it carry them, the full length

Lord let them calm them within their hearts
when their tired and need some rest
Let them speak to them with their sweet soft voice
Lord let their wings become a breast

Lord when times they feel like their all alone
send your host of angels to bear them up
Lord let them know that you're always there
for each one is your little cup

This little prayer I hold up to you O' Lord
let it every day reach your ears
Lord let it be there when I get up each morning
let it be there through the years

Lord let your angels of grace and mercy
ride along with them all the time
Let them be the driver under their travel wheels
so they can have peace of mind

Lord as I close this prayer I'll ask once more
let them carry them in their arms
And I thank you Lord for taking this time
for keeping them from all harm
