O' Lord search our hearts with your spirit
for you alone know what's in there
And I'm afraid that others will miss the mark
and their judgement won't be fair

David said- create in me a clean heart, O' God
and renew a right spirit within me
This kind of prayer should be everyone's prayer
for it's the heart, God wants to see

Well now, what can one say-it's a heart thing
that can never hide from God
He could have used something else for the soul
but instead he chose the inside

Because, no one can see behind it's walls
only a God that's wise and true
And you can rest assure, he'll be on target
so let us get it revived anew

It matters not if the sin is big or small
just come clean with a God of love
This doesn't make us any less in his sight
so let us ring up heaven up above

David the Palmist didn't have this problem
he cried out to God all the time
And didn't hide, but did acknowledge them
God thought it was good and fine

John 1:8
If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar
and his word is not in us
For all have sinned and come short of the glory
of God
John 2:1
We have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ
the righteous

So you see how we all do have a way out
for the word has told us so
Rather we do it or not, the spirit it will spot
and it most will surly know

Now there are many other ways to be revived
but this is the best one of them
By asking God to shine his word into our hearts
for forgiveness it comes from him
