Now this ship we're on is not a little boat
for our God never, does anything small
From the beginning, it was built on promise's
that was given to each and all

This ship of Zion it does comes fully loaded
that's why it's called the victory ship
And we're coming through with the bands of gold
for God don't speak with sinking lips

Though it's been through a few bad currents
and some waves that were so high
Had to face uncertain things that came against it
that almost made you want to cry

But we have a captain that does know his crew
have faith in who and what we are
So it was not a mistake that we chose this route
though the journey did seem so far

Precious Saints know this, we're on the right ship
for it was written ahead of time
Telling us what our ships was going to be about
so, our jobs we could not resign

Now we have some benefits that we've yet to see
and they are waiting for us to claim
Strenthen your anchors of faith, it won't be long
and their coming in Jesus name

O' the victory cry we do have and hold
will ring out when the time is due
For our Savior's promise, will be fulfilled
and that is, for me and you
