When I thought in how a natural car runs down
and what will it need, to get it going right
This is how the body feels when it goes so much
the knee joints begin to get tight

There's been a lot of numbers put on this gage
It's done a bit of traveling in it's time
Can't turn any of them back, their far too gone
yes, it has been an uphill climb

It almost feels like a few sparks went out
don't have that energy like before
This is not a complaint, nor am I going to faint
but do need a tune-up that's for sure

The feet wheels are wobbling with each step
it's like they have a mind of their own
When I want to go right, they want to go left
I wonder should I go, or just stay home

Then my headlights which are my two eyes
they aren't shining bright anymore
No they haven't went out, just grown a bit weak
but thank God I can still see the floor

Now my two side doors which are my arms
they are squeaking, here and there
Afraid to fold them too long, got to keep using them
this now is a conquering affair

I refuse and let my brain motor to shut down
In which, this really, is a mind thing
And it operates on, in how I think and act
and does rely on what it can bring

Must check the components to assure it's safety
can't let, the heart break down now
I still have miles to go, that God does know
so I'll need him to keep me around

Now Lord here I come to your heavenly station
please examine each part of me
Do search my little heart, through and through
so I can keep on working for thee

For I cannot keep running If I'm falling apart
this may sound foolish to another's ears
But it's in the word, how you chose foolish things
and, for only one's who's heart will hear
