God said we are his children
and children we must stay
Plus never forget his teachings
each and every day

While as we may grow older
and our bodies may age with time
Yet we can't ever get too grown
and start having our own mind

So heavenly father help us
to stay humble, meek and mild
That we don't get beside ourselves
and forget we're but a child
