Today I was looking forward in doing some things
but suddenly, my body begin to slow down
And I had these places to go, but my mind said no
and there I was at the first round

So the battle was on between Will and Don't;
and Do was there, but Won't slipped in-
O' the mind really was having the test of times
but it only takes the right one to win

So the next thing I knew the word-Will showed up
and it did grab me by my feet
And that made me to know, this is the way to go
and to erase the word defeat

Now today Will was saying I've got to take a trip
I'll do such and such, some other time
For right now I am tired, and sure need a break
all this was going through my mind

But somewhere in it's corner, Do heard Wills words
and it said, get up and be on your way
It is no time to rest, and just pull out your best
and tell yourself this is the right day

For time is waiting at the your front door
so put on your walking shoes and go
Just sharpen your wits, you're still fine and fit
and it's ok, if you are a bit slow

Then all of a sudden I felt a little more strength
and it was pushing Will in front of me
And before I knew anything, I was out the door
O' I was so happy as I could be

And then Won't and Don't went out the window
both of them knew they had lost
But I'll be looking for them to come back again
but on this day, Will was the boss

In life everyone has some kind of cry
and it may not be the same way
For the mind can become,like a battle field
and be sure you'll know your day

A thought;
If I don't have it, no one's going to give it
so I have to use what little Will I've got
And be thankful to God for allowing it to kick in-
to help me deal in life's tight spots

For the will is motivated by our faith
and God gave everyone this gift
And it's for us to use, in whatever the situation
when the gears in our minds won't shift
