Lord be my flashlight through the darkest hours
Be my fan through the scorching heat
Be my clock on the wall through the day or night
so I can claim victory and not defeat
Be my water whenever I'm thirsty
Be my pillow to rest my head
Be my food whenever I'm hungry
Be that big comforter for my bed
Be my joy when There is sorrow
Be my handkerchief to wipe my tears
Guide my steps in every direction
so I won't have any doubts or fears
Be that security lock for my protection
so no thief can enter there-in;
Let me rest in patience until you intervene
while I'm riding this gusty wind
Be my shelter where I can run and hide
Be my telephone when I have to call
Be my operator so I can get through
Be that safety-net just in-case I fall
Be my travel guide when I have to travel
and let me hold my head up high
always let me know I'm in your care
and just wait until you come by
So O' Lord be everything that I need
and let me feel your presence every where
for you truly are the source of my life
and your love is like none to compare
