A Firefighter for Christ


A fireman has become an icon of heroism today. 9/11 was an extrodinary example of a fireman’s courage to save lives despite their own. Their duty in fact is not only to put out fires but to rescue the victims. Since 9/11 we have honored many firemen as American heroes. These American heroes have saved lives, but only from a temporal fire. They are heroes, but only for a time.

In a spiritual sense, you have accepted the call of duty as a fireman and Jesus Christ is your captain. We have been called to rescue souls from an eternal fire.

Let us not be an “off-duty” firemen. Don’t be content to just wear the suit and wash the trucks.

There is a 911 call for us to rescue souls from an eternal fire. A ceremony of honor will await those who have answered this call of duty from the Lord himself.

Life is uncertain. God does not guarantee our next breath. Won’t you answer the call of duty and rescue souls from an eternal fire in Hell?
