Encouragement

The Lord he will not forsake you
and knows when you have done your best
He will entreat and your desires he'll meet
so now on his breast you can rest

He saw your tears though they were silent
he knew what you felt within
And will take every load that you did carry
and his help he will send

There was not one day that did went by
that the Lord did not see
So don't despair O' hearts he'll do his part
for he says you belong to me

He'll be that handkerchief to wipe your tears
and be your pillow where you can lay
He will extend his arms to uplift your souls
and your deliverance he won't delay

The things that had kept you burden and low
he is able to make them light
For we have a Savior that knows the heart
that loves to make things right

He tells us to cast all your cares upon him
and he will bring us through
O' precious one's he is, that burden bearer
that does care for me and you

Now he may not come when we want him to
but just know he will be on time
For our God is always faithful to his word
which brings a comfort to the mind
