Lord carry me under your loving arms
let not my heart be afraid
Send forth your power to sustain me
and don't ever let me dismayed

Help me forever trust and never doubt
establish me so I won't be moved
Help me to hold fast to all promises
let my works in me be proved

Help me to be faithful to your every word
let them be sealed deep in my heart
So wherever I go they will go with me
being rooted so they won't depart

It's growth will cause the old man to cease
which is the flesh with it's desires
I need more of you so you can increase
with each step as your word inspires

The cup of suffering won't always be sweet
and you never promise that it would be
But to satisfy my soul, with your righteousness
and I'm so glad this my heart does see
