O' ships, O' ships, ride out the deep waters
let not them stop your flight
Raise up your sails, for you will prevail
for your Savior has you in sight

Take any heavy load cast it over-board
and then press toward the shore
Don't fear the depths, your in good care
and will land, and that's for sure

He never told us to worry about the deep
but to keep our oars afloat
For this kind of ship is like none other
for Jesus name is on this boat

This ship came quipped with masts of faith
that can stand the winds of time
Her sides are made to lick any storm
so O' ship don't ever resign

For the Savior made us to be a war ship
so to face battles in this way
And our anchors will stay in their place
be it by night or by day

This route has been approved so don't worry
for it's captain he owns the ship
And his orders are plain, and easy to read
so don't let any of it slip

Now if there's anything in the dark waters
that we the ship don't know about
Our Savior will guide us safely through
for he knows, the way out

There can be no back runs on this journey
nor any off trails should it take
For the purpose it has is a needful miission
so the duty it was not a mistake

Now the over-head will look dark at times
and may run into a few squalls
But, O' shi know this you won't get lost
for God's ship it never fails
