Today it's like everyone has some kind of beef
that didn't cook right on that day
And if the shades be ever pulled off the heart
it could surly blow you away

On the highways and byways it's like there's no signs
but, more like being on a racetrack
Everyone's in a hurry and so full of fury
and believe me this is a true fact

You have to pray before you walk out the door
for a spirit of road rage is on it's round
With no conscious at all, how they drive anymore
it's like safety has no ground

They will run you over without one thought
it's like they got to dent or scar
You wonder how many traffic tickets is under their belt
yes, this is happening near and far

What did happen to the word called courteous
that once was a part of life
And again it makes you wonder what went wrong
when you see such malice and strife

Even our schools have become a battle ground
on the jobs, it is now cat fights
Co-workers can't get along with each other
it has become like Fright Night

But it didn't stop there it's now in the church
brothers and sisters can't get along
If your moving too slow, I'll run over you
the road has taken on a new song

Rage is now on the climb and it's getting worse
so buckle up with a prayer in front of you
For even the signals won't work, so be on alert
they are ignored, so what can we do

Each and every day there's another scary feat
if not on your tail, their hugging the lane
They got to be driving a hundred, to get where their going
now don't you agree, this is insane

They call it road rage but it's The Twilight Zone
and there are so many on this route
But what can you do but keep praying real hard
and ask God to be your look-out

As you can see this is happening everywhere
rather it's behind the wheel or not
It's the person themselves that has the problem
and it's not always easy to spot

Maybe someone just got from jerking their chain
or something else, that did zing in-
But innocent thoughts can be at the wrong place and time
while in the traffic that shows no end

So it is a needed thing that we all must do
to be aware of all others flight
It may save a life of a child or even our own
by trying to do, what is right
