Many say their on the right road to heaven
but don't have their bags packed
Empty as before, when they first got saved
with any record that can be tracked

Have you been washed in the blood of Jesus
question? Do you even carry his name?
Are you using, the right washing detergent
if not, your works are in-vain

Some started out well with their hearts right
had no problem in showing love
But now it seems, they have sprung a leak
of righteousness that comes from above

Now their bags are holding hate and malice
piles of jealousy has found a place
It's all crammed inside, laid out so neatly
so sad, now it owns that space

In one corner lies there, craftness and deceit
hard to tell ones, they have the most
But the truth of the matter, they both are wrong
and it leaves no room to boast

God says fill the heart with love and grace
and put some mercy in there too
Un-pack un-forgiveness and selfish ways
but render kindness, when it's due

Don't fill your hearts bag with any kind of spite
and don't, give it, any room
But load it up with peace, joy and happiness
and rid of the spirit of gloom

Your suit-case can be lighten when you let go
of things you hold in the heart
Pray and ask God's help to get pass the hurts
and what's needed he will impart

Now at heavens door our Savior does wait
do we have the ticket to enter in?
It was a price he paid for whosoever do believe
that he died for all our sins

Without the shedding of blood there's no remission
for sins
therefore no one can boast or say
That they are really ready to go to heaven
for there is only, but one way
