---

This train is run on by the word of God
nothing else will work or do
The tracks that were laid are sure and straight
for every word of God is true

Not anyone or everyone can board this train
if they did not give up their life
Trying to obtain Salvation in their own way
using bits of bitterness and strife

This ride we're on it's on the way to heaven
so we must stay on aboard
Throw off things, that can stop us, in our tracks
such as evil we cannot hoard

The locomtive is filled with the spirit of the Lord
and it must and carry his love
It's hard to stop a moving train, such as this
when it's power comes from above

Now there is joy and peace that rides on her
and it's loaded with forgiveness too
If a thief try to rob her, I'd be blown off track
this is what real power will do

So no one can take us off this kind of train
it's investment came by the blood
All paid in full by a humble loving Savior
so we can even pass through a flood

We can practise to keep our hearts in line
don't take on what we don't need
So to make the journey light, with a glorious light
and then we shall surly succeed

Heavy weights of burdens can slow the trip
it may even burn us out
But as long as we keep our Savior in charge
he will carry us the full route

Now we will surly need patience on this run
and more meekness can help a lot
We must not forget a little kindness too
to fill each empty spot

If we want the spiritual train to heaven
then we have to use what is right
So it won't break down and leave us on the side
by failing to carry God's light

We can enjoy this spiritual ride to glory
if we listen and obey the conductor
And when the enemy tries to pull up the tracks
we can call out to the instructor

The conductor Jesus is setting in the caboose
he is the one who paid the fare
And he does hold eack ticket in his hands
the only one who can get us there

So climb aboard O' fellow Christian Soldiers
the glory train is on it's route
Picking up spirit filled riders fit for the kingdom
so don't anyone, be left out
