Now while there in the midnight hours
a calmess it will hold us dear
For the peace of God it is around our abode
giving strength when there's no will

To face our days before each dawn
telling our hearts not to fear
And in the noon-day hours, he does entreat
as he draws us ever so near

We don't have to worry in the darkest storms
nor to fret of the rivers of flow
Through the blowing winds, grace will descend
he is with us wherever we go

When the troubles come and knock on our doors
love and mercy will take the call
And will solve those problems as they pop up;
or even how many may fall

Therfore do not fear oh precious souls
for his comfort has made it's way
So to help us to stand those rivers of life
that do meet us in a day

Now the arm of Lord it has power and might
that will lift us above each task
So no matter what comes we still have hope
and all we need to do but ask
