Do You Love The Lord?...When Have You Told Him?

Twice a month, sometimes more, I call my brother, Marty, an over the road truck driver. For generally an hour, we talk about family, God, sports and politics. Never does a conversation end without both of us validating each other stating our love and respect for each other before saying good-bye then proceed to accomplish our given professions, family responsibilities and devotional responsibilities to the God we worship.

This morning, when I woke up at 4:00 AM, I had an hour long talk with God. I praised Him..., and I thanked Him for giving me another day of life... and I confessed my sins to the best of my ability to Him...and I petitioned Him for the welfare of my children (birth and clients), family of orientation, extended family, friends, foes, faith and country.. and I said, “Amen.” Then I sat quietly for about ten minutes, deep in thought to listen to what my Heavenly Father had to relate and say. How important, precious and life giving was the more than one hour I sat with my Creator and Lord! Lastly, I bowed my head, closed my eyes and added, “Thank you for all that I have! Thank you for loving me. I love You, Lord!”

How long has it been since you gladdened and made happy the heart of God by telling Him you love Him?

Go ahead right now... Say it out loud!...

Know that your Heavenly Father is pleased with you!

Now if you are in a hurry, slow down for a couple of seconds an say...”God is with me! God is in me!” This is a prayer in the form of an Instant Message that also pleases the Lord.
