Visiting Oklahoma State University—Oklahoma City campus preschool program, some of the 4 year old children were asked, “What is the meaning of love to you?”
They responded in the following manner—

“Love is when mom gives dad the best of the steak at dinner time”.—Eddie

“Love is when you tell your little brother you really like his shirt and he wants to wear it every day”.—Jerry

“Love is when people kiss a lot, hold hands, smile at each other and say nice stuff. Like my mommy and daddy do all day”.—Allison

“Love is when your mom feeds you spinach, carrots, lettuce, meat and potatoes so you can get big and strong”.--Timmy

Love is when you can smile when you’ve fallen down and hurt your knee”.—Fran

“I know my big sister loves me because she gives me her dolls and clothes and has to go to the store and buy them all over again”.—Michelle

“It’s when after you and your brother have a really big fight and you make up with each other”.—Robbie

“Love is when you forgive people when they mess up”.—Tamika

“When you tell your best friend something bad about yourself and you’re really scared they won’t love you anymore and you find out they still love you more than they did before”.—Patty

“It’s love when grandpa doesn’t get mad at grandma when she beats him at checkers”.—Mike

“It happens when everybody sticks together to help you get better when you’re really sick.”—Tommy

“I know my daddy loves me when he hugs me and calls me princess and I feel really good”.—Juanita

“When momma and daddy says nice stuff to each other after they’ve been arguing about something”.—Ricky

“Love is when your puppy runs to you and licks your face when you come home from school”.—Samantha

“Love is when your mom cooks your really favorite food twice a week”.—Alex
