Moment by moment,
Day by day,
To follow Your guidance
In every way.
Your countenance is the lamplight, fair
That leads me through the darkness
With never a care.

Moment by moment
I make my choice,
To follow You willingly
And listen to Your voice.
But should I choose to turn a deaf ear,
I know that Your voice in all things
Will never be clear.

Help me, Lord,
To seek out Your plan,
Day by day,
And hour by hour
May my heart be open to Your
Great and awesome power.
Help me to search out the wisdom of Your ways,
In the pages of Your Word,
That I would always be walking with the One
Who is the Ancient of Days.
