I asked for a word and then I received it.
I asked for a mind so I could believe it.
I took what He gave and I stored it away
In the file of my heart to retrieve it some day

"For a season", He said.

"How long is a season?" I asked of my Friend.
"The season will last 'til it comes to an end."

The refreshing that was and the lift of my spirit;
My need was so loud I was sure all could hear it.

At His feet there are pleasures
And treasures galore
Left me a longing for
So very much more.

Can I sit at Your feet
And just be refreshed,
With one people, one Body
With whom I can mesh?

One spirit, one mind,
One Body, One Friend.
One place I can call
A Beginning Again.
