A People of Influence;that’s you and me.
Changing our world ;making it free.

Giving it light where darkness abounds.
Giving new hope to those who may drown;

Drown in a sea of turmoil and strife.
People of God are called to breathe life;

Into a world full of sin and regret
Where fear takes it place with worry and fret.
We’re anointed to bring the good news to the poor;
Tell prisoners that they are prisoners no more.

We’re planted as trees of righteousness tall,
Marching around and knocking down walls.

We’re given a task with a mark of high calling,
Holding out grace to a people now falling;

Grace and mercy flow from God’s Throne,
As faith takes the city and reclaims its own.

A City of Light where no darkness resides
Sits on the hill where God’s people abide.

High on a hill where all others may see,
Those no longer captive have now been set free.

People of Influence; that’s you and me
Changing our world for His Kingdom to be.

Change is difficult for some and resistance is great, but realizing that the greater the resistance, the greater the strength that comes and the higher the eagle flies.
