He reached out to me through a friend
Who encouraged me always to smile

Through my daughter’s small generous hand
He convinced me pinecones are worth- while

Through support from my spouse He has taught
There is healing through words that are kind

He reveals through the glass of my mirror
Earthly vessels become tired and lined

Through the confiding lips of my son
He has shown me the value of trust

Through mistakes I have made He reminds
Of my humble beginning from dust

His hands knead through every moment
Molding clay into what it should be

Through His will beats the heart of His promise
Bringing focus to all that I see
