Life happens in small doses
Our God planned it all that way
And things never run as smoothly
As we’d like them to each day

If your child is filled with mischief
It seems you always have to scold
Hug him tight and thank Lord Jesus
For giving you a child to hold

Our lives are oh-so-busy
Interruptions never cease
If we learn how to embrace them
We attain internal peace

You’re busy when a neighbor calls
Your ear she hopes you’ll lend
Listen up attentively
Thank God you have a friend

No one knows your heart
Quite like the Lord does-this is true
But it soothes the soul to share
Your inside heart with others too

At times your spouse unnerves you
In ways you just can’t understand
Thank God you have a partner
To walk through life with, hand in hand

How many tests we face each day!
Some passed, some failed by far
I’m thankful that our Savior
Loves us this the way we are
