SPRING CLEANING

At last! Spring is drawing near,
I can tell with every sneeze,
Red, itchy eyes and nasal drip
Allergy season will soon be here.

Spring cleaning , I like to do,
Scrub here, mop there, clean the windows
‘tho all the dusts came flying by -
Clean, sparkling house, I wouldn’t mind.

Spring reminds me of fresh, new life
Renewing faith, a humble heart
Turning away from grime of sins
Purging our minds of evil schemes.

Green grass of hope and morning breeze,
Blue skies and birds that sing so sweet
Sunshiny days, flowers that bloom
To all these blessings, I'm so grateful.

At last! Spring is drawing near,
And Easter time will soon be here
Be still and pray, pause to reflect
Christ Jesus lives, let’s celebrate!

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew
a right spirit within me.” ( Psalms 51:10 –KJV )
