God is able to fulfill every promise
that he has given to you and me
His word won't return, and that's a fact
just wait and then you'll see
No, you can't determine, the way it will come
Nor how great that it will be,
but rest assure, it will be on time
For he cannot lie, to you and me
Our heart may anticipate, at each coming hour
We meditate on it day and night
for our hope is built on his holy word
and faith says, it's going be all right
What joy that seems to overflow
just to nkow he's faithful and true
After we have waited, oh so long,
now he's going to give to us what is due
Can't you grasp the moment, it's very near
Can you imagine just what's in store
Well, hold on to your hat, for it's a whopper
for there belongs, to us, a many doors
Our God, he has gone before us,
to make every crooked path safe
And all we have to do is believe
by taking that step of faith
Seasons have come and seasons have gone
but it's now our time to reap
For all the seeds we've planted are in full bloom
now watch them all come piling in a heap
