***Oceans of Tears! ***

“The Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth and His heart was filled with pain.” So the Lord said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth-men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air – for I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6: 6-8.

Do you ever wonder about things like, “Why is the sky blue? The grass green or the ocean’s of the world are salty? I don’t have the answers to these questions, but recently my imagination ran a little wild on that last question.

Let’s suppose that in the days of Noah, God was so hurt by the sinfulness of man that He couldn’t hold his tears back any longer. God knew His tears would soon fall from the heavens and flood the earth.

In an act of extreme love, He instructed Noah, the last righteous man, to build the ark that would save his family and all the pairs of animals. It would be enough for a fresh start.

I can just imagine it was God’s salty tears that rained down on earth those many days and nights and filled the oceans of this world.

Think about it.

Maybe that’s why the oceans are salty? Now, if I could only figure out why the sky is blue and the grass is green...
