ENCOURAGEMENT IS THE WAY TO GO!


Trials come and go through life and as on a roller coaster ride, we are confused and shaken. We don't know God's plan to guide us through life, we only know to hang on!

Over the hills and through the valleys, we are encouraged and discouraged. We also know that like that rabbit, reaching for the carrot, our eyes are on the prize and we don't give up, we press on!

If soemthing is appealing, we often doubt and procrastinate. Though we sincerely want it, we are skeptical. That old saying--"If it seems too good to be true" is often correct. We have to not act in haste and at the same time remember our Father's hand is leading us. We also have to be trusting and know the best is yet to come!

The end result is victorious if we press on. It might not be what we desired but God knows what is best and is our guide. We make hasty, rash decisions, sometimes out of our desires instead of our needs. Isn't it good to know that God is the director?? Don't we have faith enough to trust HIM??

Do you like those time when compliments are handed out? of course! Do you like the times when you are torn down and offended? of course not! Fear and rejection are often times when we panic. Our lives haven't turned out exactly as we have planned and those who seek to destroy us, often end up destroying our emotional state of mind if they cannot succeed in destroying our bodies! The enemy roars, walking the earth to devour you and keep you discouraged----give him a swift kick and stand firm on God's word!!

Discouragement, defeat and finally despair are what I call the 3-D's. These 3 things will destroy you if you let them. When you become discouraged, you talk to yourself until you are blue in the face and get nowhere. Then defeat takes over and says--ah ha got you now, you will never recover and rise above the trials. And of course--there is despair which is the lowest point we face. Without a caring individual beside you, encouraging you and prayer, you will surely feel unhappy.

I said all this to make this point--it is a choice! Choose to not be run over, beaten up, kicked in the face and totally upset! Remember God is there!! Take charge of your thinking and remember when you get as low as you think you possibly can, God is ALWAYS there.

Today be encouraged and not discouraged and keep believing God still sits on the throne and loves you ohhhhh so much!
