HOW STRONG ARE YOU?


How strong are you? Strong enough to handle life's problems ==sure you are--with God's help! How confident are you that your God is your strength? It is He that sustains us from day to day and always has a solution when we listen.

Psalm 91:1+2 He who dwells in the secret place of the most high, will abide in the shadow of the almighty and I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in Him I will trust

Several times we are tempted to stop, give up, quit, get discouraged, feel downtrodden, and yes those are natural feelings but we need to guard ourselves from allowing that discouragement from taking over.

God gives us what we need from day to day, not what we want. Yes, sometimes, we get what we want because God also allows us to have the desires of our heart but when we don't get it in our time, we grow impatient. We need to work on that!

Today is another day given to us by God. How we approach it, is up to us! Take today and enjoy it, being confident that God is in control of it all. Take tomorrow as a gift as we are not promised a tomorrow and the future is exciting as we step toward our goals!

God's helpful hand is always there as we show love one to another. The hand of kindness and heart of goodness will endure if we truly strive to be like Christ. We need to instill those values in our children as well so they will grow to be confident in their decisions and make wise choices. With God's help, we can all climb to the top of any mountain, obtaining and achieving our goals.

If you are strong in the Lord and His Word, you will find your life taking shape. Everything that happens is for a reason and we all travel different paths in life from day to day. We also need to be strong in our faith, values, and confidence so when situations are presented to us that are in question, we will stand still and know what we believe.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

God goes before us in all situations---bad or good. Let Him be your strength!

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

I hope you can say today that you are strong in the Lord!

May God be your strength and song! Rejoice in this new day He has given you!
