HOPE IN GOD

We often have good intentions, but don't follow through. We try and try and end up in one of two situations. We are either discouraged, or encouraged. If we choose to believe God's word, we will find that the scripture says in Jeremiah 29:11--For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

We can't understand why but God always knows the outcome. Good intentions are just that--GOOD. God sees our hearts and plans to let us have control of our lives for just so long, and then HE takes over. We think we can't go on any longer and start fuming and pacing the floor. The habits creep in such as biting our nails, eating too much, talking too much etc. and we find we are under alot of stress.

Knowing God is in control and knows the outcome, just doesn't seem to be enough for us but we have to have faith and know He is the one who is ALWAYS there. We need hope to survive and when we place our trust in Him, we find peace.

We can hope and hope and hope but without faith--what do we have? We have to exercise our faith and not just hope, but believe that God will do as we ask. When we go to Him with our needs in prayer, he listens and loves us. He wants to give us the very best because we are His children!

God has plans for you and I to prosper and not harm us, and that gives us hope for the future! Without God and His word, we would surely lose hope! We prosper not only in financial ways, but oout of the abundance of our hearts as we show forth God's love. You are right on target if you put your faith, trust and hope in GOD!

We are not perfect nor do we know the future and we should not look to anyone but God for the future. We should instead pray for God's wisdom and direction. Our life may take a drastic turn and traumatic things may happen, but it is in those times, when we think we can handle it all------that we need to turn to HIM!

Take action when talking with someone so you will be encouraging and not discouraging to them. Use hope, faith and love to get them to put their trust and confidence in God. God is our healer and help in trouble. Today let us remember His words to us in Jeremiah and remember His plan for our lives. When you are in the middle of it all, let go and let God run your life!! You will have hope eternal!
