Our most gracious heavenly Father,
We lift up our hands and pray.
We have a humble plea,
We would like to send Your way.

We need Your help so desperately,
For sickness does abound,
For many things that now afflict,
No cures have yet been found.

Could You please send the knowledge,
That we lack to help this cause?
For Your wisdom is sufficient,
Without errors, without flaws.

You said if we lack wisdom,
We should come unto You.
We know You have the answers,
So it’s You we do pursue.

We are praying for all men,
As You said that we should do.
May the men who deal in research,
Get their answers straight from You?

Pour out Your loving Spirit,
On the suffering we pray.
Lift them from the ash heaps,
That disease has brought their way.

May the scales fall from their eyes,
And may the blind begin to see.
That Your compassion never fails,
And You delight in love and mercy.

We lift You up in exaltation,
We praise You O our king.
We know that we can trust in You,
For You are so amazing.

1 Timothy 2:1—Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for ALL MEN, (2) for kings and all who are in authority, THAT we may lead a QUIET and PEACABLE LIFE in all GODLINESS and REVERENCE. (3) For THIS is GOOD and ACCEPTABLE in the sight of God our Savior. (4) Who desires ALL MEN to BE SAVED and to COME to THE KNOWLEDGE of THE TRUTH. (5) For there is one God and one Mediator between God and Men, the Man Christ Jesus, (6) who gave HIMSELF a RANSOM for ALL, to be TESTIFIED in DUE TIME.
