When I was just a little child,
My love for God was more than mild.
I knew Him not as I do today,
But only in my childlike way.

My God was such a Teddy Bear,
So filled with love and stuffed with care.
He brought me comfort when I was bad,
For He knew I was sorry and feeling sad.

He saw in my heart what no one else did,
For I was an ornery sort of a kid.
He saw that my love for Him was so real,
And wanting to please Him was quite a big deal.

Fairy tale dreams in my heart would unwind.
As remarkable things He brought to my mind,
My heart was in awe as young David did kill,
That giant Goliath and that was for real.

We serve the same God so why can’t there be,
Remarkable things for both you and me.
May that childlike faith in each one of us rise,
Till remarkable things rain down from the skies.

We cannot settle for just the mundane,
For miracles can happen in our God’s domain.
Let’s rise in the Spirit to our holy call,
Which our Father has given to one and to all.

Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
For it cost Me My Son so much it was worth.
I love My creation so don’t you see,
Go subdue the earth and do it for Me!

So let’s fulfill our Father’s dream,
Cause His eye’s to shine and His face to beam.
What Adam lost through his sin?
Let’s take it back we can through Him!

Let’s rise up to the King of Kings,
And watch Him do those remarkable things.
For this is why He came you see,
So that He could work through you and me.

I guess I’m still a child at heart,
But this dream for me will not depart.
To please our Father is the remarkable thing,
That fills my heart and makes it sing.


Genesis 1:27—So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (28) Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and SUBDUE it; have DOMINIION over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and OVER EVERY LIVING THING that moves on the earth. Is. 46:9—REMEMBER the FORMER things OF OLD, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God and there is none like Me, (10) DECLARING the END from THE BEGINNING, and from ANCIENT times things that ARE NOT YET DONE, saying, ‘MY COUNSEL shall STAND.

1 John 3:8—FOR THIS PURPOSE the Son of God WAS MANIFESTED, that HE MIGHT DESTROY the WORKS of THE DEVIL. John 1:29—The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 3:16—For God so loved the world that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes IN HIM should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that THE WORLD THROUGH HIM might BE SAVED.

(We’re off to meet King Jesus, the Son of the living God,
Where all become as CHILDREN and nobody thinks it odd.
Where everything is different behold, all things are new.
We are standing on Mount Zion for a heavenly point of view!)

Ps. 2:6—“Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion. (7) I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, You are My Son, today I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU. (8) Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for YOUR INHERITANCE, and THE ENDS of THE EARTH for YOUR POSSESSION.

Well we are at that point in time where the ends of the earth are almost touching. That wonderful point in time where He is making the mystery of HIS WILL known.

Eph. 1:9—having made known to us the mystery of HIS WILL, according to HIS GOOD PLEASURE which HE PURPOSED in HIMSELF, (10) that in THE DISPENSATION of THE FULLNESS of THE TIMES He might GATHER together IN ONE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST, BOTH which are IN HEAVEN and which are ON EARTH--IN HIM, (11) in whom also WE have OBTAINED an INHERITANCE, being PREDESTINED according to THE PURPOSE of HIM who WORKS ALL THINGS ACCORDING to THE COUNSEL of HIS WILL.

Remember we just read in Is. 46:9—Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is NO OTHER, I am God, and there is NONE like Me, (10) DECLARING THE END from THE BEGINNING, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, “MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND.” So this is where I am getting my counsel from. I do believe that HIS COUNSEL is GOING to STAND! This is the counsel that my childlike faith clings to, for it came from our God.

Matt. 19:13—Then LITTLE CHILDREN were brought to HIM that He might put HIS HANDS on THEM and pray, BUT THE DISIPLES REBUKED THEM. (14) BUT JESUS SAID, “LET the LITTLE CHILDREN COME to ME, and DO NOT FORBID THEM; for of SUCH is THE KINGDOM of GOD.

Matt. 13:36—Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” (37) He answered and said to them: “He who sows THE GOOD SEED is THE SON of MAN. (38) “THE FIELD is THE WORLD, the GOOD SEEDS are THE SONS of THE KINGDOM.

Matt. 18:1--At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” (2) and Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, (3) and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (4) “Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

You see Jesus thinks that children are the greatest! I believe simply because children have such amazing faith. When I was a child, I believed that there was not anything that my dad could not do. I believe everyone would say the same thing, unless of course their father had been abusive. Shouldn’t we have that same kind of faith in our heavenly Father?
