He could have sent an angel as a sacrifice for sin,
And said I love you truly, that is why I’m sending him.
He could have taken tablets and written it in stone,
To say how much He loves us and wants us for His own.

He could have came in splendor, dressed in royal blue,
With a rod and will of iron to tell us what to do.
But He came to show us with a heart filled with love,
The way back to our Father in heaven above.

For God so cared enough to send the very best,
His only begotten Son, with whom He had been blest.
Down the halls of time He came, ready to make His mark;
To enlighten our world, whose soul had grown so dark.

He came and lived among us, an example He became,
To glorify His Father, and bring honor to His name.
He gave up all He had and He died upon that tree,
To show forth the greatest love throughout all eternity.

He signed His name with an x, was not a fancy deal,
Because the blood of His cross, signified His seal.
Now stamped on the world is the sign of the cross,
Proclaiming His name, and that He’s risen to be boss.

He came to put His mark on us, each and everyone;
O glory hallelujah give praise unto His Son.
God sent His very best to die for me and you,
So we could be our best as is love in us shines through.

Psalm 37:37-MARK the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace.

Hebrews 2:9—But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the SUFFERING of DEATH crowned with glory and honor by THE GRACE of GOD, might TASTE DEATH for EVERYONE. (10) For it was fitting for Him for whom are all things and by whom ARE all things, in bringing many sons TO GLORY, to make THE AUTHOR of THEIR SALVATION PERFECT through SUFFERINGS.
