Encouragement

I have a new Word in my vocabulary called victorious. I plan to live a victorious life and not one as a victim. The enemy can take his games somewhere else, because I am not playing. Jesus came to give us abundant life, full of joy, hope, peace and love. I accept all of the things that Christ offers me, and reject all of the whims of the enemy. There is just no time to live a defeated life when we can rejoice and live in victory. I am so thankful that there is victory in Jesus today and forever, and that it is freely offered to each of us for the taking.

When life hands me turmoil and strife, I run to Jesus for peace. He is the comforter, the healer, the giver of life, the Eternal Father. He cares about each little sparrow and I know He watches over my struggles and trials. He is my hiding place and I take shelter in His loving arms until the storms pass. He lightens my load and strengthens me to withstand all life throws at me.

I have found myself planning my life, my next step all of the way. If I can ever get to the point where I let Him direct ALL of my steps and just let go, then I will see victory. Things are never like I planned them, yet He sees the big picture, the big scheme of things and brings things about in a way that I can only see His glory and His hand in the situations. He is my shelter through it all.

Be encouraged! Hold on to Him and hold out as His plan unfolds in your life. He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. He is more than enough when the answers aren’t enough. He is in the sunshine and in the rain, in the joy, and yes, in the pain. Stand firm and let Him prove Himself to us over and over again because that is His specialty.
