Sometimes
it's nice to just be.
To not fill your mind
with the thoughts
of others.
To let their
ideas float away
and find the one's
meant for you.
To find them
in the quiet stillnesss
or on a long walk alone.

Sometimes
it's the right thing
to take action
or speak up
on the things
that truly move your heart.
You must say your lines
and play your part.

Sometimes
a smile,
or a tear;
a wink
or a touch;
a shared laugh
or a prayer;
or the simple
fact that you are near
can mean
oh so much
because you're
present to another.
