If I could ever get to the point of spiritual release to where I could sing and dance before Him uninhibited like David did… where I could just be totally obedient to whatever His Spirit tells me to do. Then my life would be free from bondage and the release would be a sweet one.

I remember some fifteen years ago in college at a Baptist Student Union Retreat. We were singing worship songs before the speaker came up to deliver a message. I felt His presence so strong and felt the leading to kneel before Him. I struggled within myself for a few seconds. “What will they think? This Baptist girl sure is charismatic.” So!

So I fell to my knees with my eyes closed and my hands held high praising the Most High while I focused on Christ. When I opened my eyes, everyone kneeled one-by-one in his presence. I heard Him say, “See.” “Yes, Sir!” I did.

I want to cheer my brothers and sisters in the Lord like we do at sporting events. Come on! You can make it. You are more than conquerors. In our weakness He is strong. Don’t give up, you are loved. He will give you exceedingly abundantly more than you even think or ask.

If we could really grasp His splendor and majesty on this side of heaven, how would we live differently? I don’t know, but I do know that I want more of Him and I can’t seem to get enough. Maybe that is selfish, but I love to fellowship with my Father.

Let’s run toward Him like there is no tomorrow, because maybe, there isn’t.
