Faith
Love looked down at its creation with great
compassion. He was moved by our need to be free from
the bondage of our sins. He traded His place in glory
to come down and live among man. He lived and died
for us. “It is finished, the battle is over,” Love
cried.
The final sacrifice has been paid. A free pardon was
offered to anyone who would walk the way of Calvary,
under the blood through repentance. Leave your
burdens there at the foot of the cross. Take up His
cross and follow in His footsteps. He will guide you
along the narrow way. His yoke is easy and His burden
is light. Try Him and see that He is good.
Love was too merciful to leave Adam and Eve in the
garden where they could eat from the Tree of Life.
Eating from the Tree of Life would have given them
eternal life. Now, in their fallen state, Love could
not allow his creation to live forever without a
chance for repentance – just like Satan.
Because of sin, all must die. He provided the
perfect sacrifice. No more going through a priest
with a spotless lamb. The perfect Lamb of God was
offered for all sins past, present and future.
