I Will Listen

In the still of the night
When I’m wounded from the fight
I will listen

When I’m tired of letting go
And I need someone to hold
I will listen

When I need the strength to win
I rise up to start again
I will listen

I’ll be still and wait for You
For Your will to pull me through
I will listen

Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning!

This poem brings to mind this verse of scripture:Be still and know that I am God.We should all be still and listen for his still,small voice.

Mitzi, This is exactly the word I needed today. I need to be still! Joy does come in the morning. Often, in very enexpected ways.

We need to learn the art of listening....for his voice. The secret to living the abundant life, lies in our ability and desire to L-I-S-T-E-N, and then R-E-S-P=O=N-D. I know you are!
