Our God he is our keeper
as we trust in his precious way
Though buildings fall and crumble in heaps
his word is here to stay
It is settled in heaven and sealed forever
unlike any other record that's kept
For some are lost and others destroyed
but his will keep if the heart will accept
Many pages in history are gone and forgotten
Good thoughts, are sometimes mis-read
and good intentions are sure meant well,
but often times they are mis-led
There are roads we travel that change with time
making routes in many directions
But it's good to know his word won't change
and will never need corrections
Trees are here today and gone tommorow
and in it's place is something new
But I'm so glad his word will stand forever
and will remain true to me and you
Maps will lead us to other cities
that we can go by, plane, car or bus
But the only plan we have to go to heaven
is God's word, we rely on, and trust
I say it's like a flower, because this one thing
for in our heart, it's freshness, is renewd
as we study God's plan it grows in us
and it brings, everything in view
