                        Live The Goodness of God

I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord
    in the land of the living! Psalm 27:13 ESV

How often have we heard it said; ‘seeing is believing.’ But our  Lord reminds us, ‘blessed is he who does not see, yet believes.’ (John 20:29) Strengthening our trust toward becoming a ‘doer of God’s word,’ takes practice. And as I often tell people, “practice makes improvement!” None of us as followers of Jesus learn; we don’t live for ourself. Rather, in our daily living experiences, we grow to deny our will and expectations. To better understanding and  recognize the power of Gods sufficiency for us with each new day.  

There are multitudes who learn to recognize the ‘voice of God’s Spiritual prompting.’ (Romans 8:5) They are truly walking ‘through the narrow gate of righteousness,’ provided to and for us.

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. Matt 7:13-14

Learning to live life in obedience of God’s goodness bring promises waiting for us. Like any student wanting to become proficient in their academic achievement will encounter hardships before success. The living experiences we encounter with each new day, truly reflect the goodness of God. Living through our challenges before us teaches steadfast endurance, resulting in victory from those challenges.

We strive to do the things we think we cannot do in our reasoning and strength. Only to witness the power of God’s Spiritual presence demonstrate things are possible with the Lord’s goodness in our own land of living. We are to remain steadfast in our pursuits.

Father, thank you for reminding us through your word, and in recognizing, with your will, nothing is impossible with the goodness of God.  Luke 1:37
