Jesus ‘In Us’ Is Our Intimacy With Him

 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 ESV

God has no limitation of His power in us, even as God’s thought of time is not measurable to us. God recognizes, and measures out our days.  He tells us through Peter’s Epistle, ‘A day is as a thousand  years, and a thousand years as a day’. 2 Peter 3:8

Whether your eight years old or eighty seven years, We’re still all God’s personal property, as his children! As such, we can all be  overcomers to walk daily by the measure of faith God assigns each one of us.

Learning to be less conformed to the culture around us, that we grow to recognize Gods Spirit at work in us. Transforming our hearts to find God’s joy and workmanship to live out each new day. Creating us into intimacy with God, which He desires for us to live by.                                                                                                                                                                                                            
‘How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.’ Psalm 139:17-18 ESV

I think this to be so precious that we be found ‘in Him,’ not having a righteousness of our own, but that which is through faith in Jesus. This gives us cause to look not so much to things of the world around us that are temporal, but to things that are eternal, lasting forever.

Gods thoughts are higher than our ability. He says, ‘even as the heaven are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than ours. Isaiah 55:8-9 Yet, God’s desire is for us to truly want intimacy to trust him fully.  

Father, thank you for this you put into our heart to bring intimacy with you throughout our days, amen.
