We’re Found Through Faith Given

 And be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— Philippians 3:9 ESV

I am thankful with each new day to proclaim and thank our Lord for faith assigned me. Yes, faith is assigned to each follower of Jesus. It’s not something we can take any credit for, that we exercise every day. Did you ever wonder just how the Lord created the earth. In Genesis chapter one it details God created, but just how did He do that? Proverbs 3:19-20 share, ‘The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; ‘by understanding he established the heavens; by knowledge the deeps broke open, and the clouds drop down the dew.’

I could elaborate in the vernacular of our modern English, but suffice it to say, by God’s faithfulness to those He created, God gives us understanding to know what His words mean.

Isn’t it a wonderful blessing to be found in Him? And because of faith God gives to each one of His children, we’re recognized as His personal property! We are so very blessed. All because of faith given us. His righteousness for us given from above, that we are called ‘children of God.’

Because of God’s work for us, and through us, from grace alone through faith alone, we become heirs to the heavenly realm. I never want to be casual about telling others … everything we do with each day is an exercise of faith givento tasks before us, and be blessed to share with those not knowing our Lord and Redeemer. What faith our Lord measures out to us and how our daily activities are actually ‘faith’ in action. Everything we do is a measure of faith at work.  

Father, thank you for providing faith as given us, found in Jesus for us, far greater than the law, amen.
