Salutations fair madame and good sir
It's hard finding others who are pure
Those striving to improve on the day to day
Leaving behind their mistakes and old ways

Seizing opportunities to leave addictions behind
Looking around for a better purpose to find
Seeking truth in the midst of all the lies
To no longer deal with tears flowing from their eyes

People who wish to activate gratitude instead of anxiety
Appreciating the essence of being humble rather than notoriety
An individual who doesn't want to impose negativity
Rather chooses to induce every aspect of positivity

Unafraid to take accountability when they mess up
Aiming to fill instead of empty someone elses cup
A person who aspires to be as authentic as can be
So that genuineness is what everyone around them sees

It's tough to tell who really is what they say they are
With all the fakes attempting to deceive everyone under the stars
Comparison has stolen away many people's joy
Please don't succumb to its attempts to destroy

With all the experiences being different
It's normal to have a variety of interests
Don't let opinions occupy your thoughts as fact
Stand firm in your passion to pursue pleasant acts

We can only control so much the rest isn't worth the stress
If someone finds it necessary to interrupt your peace just leave that mess
Toxicity seems to be the leading cause of dismantling connections
Don't let that drag you down to drown your motivation or retrospection
