He Knows

The great and mighty God,
Who spoke, and it was done,
Sees and knows your joys and sorrows;
Yes, He sees them, every one!

He Who made great mountains,
And ev’ry little flower,
Sees you too, in each hard trial;
In every lonely hour.

Jesus walked this earth too.
He also knew pain and scorn.
He faced the pain of rejection,
And felt its harsh and cruel thorn.

Jesus knows your trial,
And all you have been through;
He also sees the bigger picture,
And the beauty He’s working in you.

Let God mold, shape, and break,
According to His will;
Draw still nearer to your Savior,
And quiet your heart, and be still.

Gaze not upon the ‘tools’
Nor fight the pain they bring;
But look ever unto Jesus,
Seeking His hand in ev’rything.

God knows your ev’ry need,
And He surely will provide!
Oh trust your Father’s loving hand,
And stay ever close to His side.
