The One Given Much

From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. Luke 12:48b NIV

From the one who has a higher ministering position more will be required by the Lord. The Lord wants His flock led safely and on a path which leads to Him. Those who are in charge have a very serious responsibility to the Lord. The leader is not to be doing things which are for his benefit, but doing things which will benefit those being served in their growth of their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. It can truly get hard for the leader as the temptation to provide for oneself can easily replace focus on serving the flock. Just know that all leaders in ministry shall be held accountable to the Lord.
