I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” Luke 12:49 NIV
So, what is this fire which Christ brought to the earth? I believe He meant the fire of the love for God in one’s heart who comes to know and accept the Lord. As a believer in Christ, do you not at times feel as if you have a fire burning in your heart, a desire to know the Lord even more and desire to serve Him? This fire will also be the destruction of those who choose not to accept the Lord. Those shall be enslaved to their sin and die in them. This frie separates good from evil. There is no middle ground. All shall be touched by the fire. How shall the fire affect you?
