Author requests article critique

The kissing sounds and the sound of her brother's heavy breathing woke Dina up. She smiled when she saw Paul and Judith kissing. "Thank You, Jesus," she whispered.

Paul stopped kissing Judith for a minute and looked at his little sister. "Dina, did you say something, honey?" he asked.

"I was just thanking Jesus Christ for answering my prayer," Dina answered. "Judith is a nice girl, and I'm glad she is in your life."

Paul smiled. "Thank you, little sister. So am I."

"I'm glad to be in both of your lives." Judith smiled.

"I'm glad you're in my life, too," Dina said to Judith. "You're already like a big sister to me."

Judith smiled at Dina and patted her head. "Thank you, Dina. That is so sweet of you to say."

"You're welcome."

Just then, the thunder got even louder. "This storm is really crazy!" Paul exclaimed. "It's unbelievable!"

Hours passed, and the storm still hadn't died down. The phone was dead. Judith couldn't call her parents and tell them she'd be late coming home. She didn't know what to do.

"We'll just wait," Paul assured her. "I'm sure they'll understand. After all, we're in the middle of a thunderstorm."

Still holding Dina in his lap, Paul put one arm around Judith. Judith leaned her head on Paul's shoulder. The three of them were soon fast asleep.
