Democrats and even some Republicans are in a tizzy, because President Donald Trump had some harsh words for Congressman Thomas Massie at a prayer breakfast earlier this week. They don't think he should have said that about Massie at a prayer meeting, because prayers meetings are a time of worship.
Let's take something into consideration, though. Thomas Massie is a traitor to America. He opposed the way President Donald Trump handled the drug cartels from Venezuela and our enemies from Iran, even though the drug cartels and enemies from Iran were harming and even killing Americans. As the leader of this country, President Donald Trump did what he had to do in order to stop those people. (Keep in mind that David, the second king of Israel, was tough on Israel's enemies, too.) Thomas Massie opposed President Donald Trump taking the action he needed to take to stop our enemies. That was traitorous of him.
Also, it was at a worship meeting that Jesus Christ exposed the traitor in His group. Do you guys remember what happened in the upper room during the Passover, when Jesus and His disciples were celebrating the Passover and having the Last Supper? Jesus Christ shocked all of His disciples by announcing that one of them was going to betray Him. He even singled out the one who would do it by saying that the one who betrayed Him was the one who dipped his hand into the bread with Him. Was Jesus Christ wrong to single Judas Iscariot out during a worship meeting, or was Judas Iscariot wrong to plan to betray Jesus Christ?
Jesus didn't do anything wrong by calling out Judas Iscariot, and President Donald Trump didn't do anything wrong by calling out Thomas Massie. Judas and Massie were responsible for being called out on their actions.
