Paul looked up at the ceiling for a minute. He could feel tears coming to his eyes as he thought about everything that had just happened. "Dina is the greatest little sister anyone could ever have. She's really been there for me after Bridget and I broke up." He paused and quietly cleared his throat. "This thing I just told her about storms and rainbows makes me think of something I was just reminded of. As you know, Dina was praying I'd be happy again. I had never felt lower about anything else in my life before Bridget and I broke up. I honestly believed I would never be happy again. I was always depressed. Every night I prayed that I could just go to sleep and never wake up. When weeks passed and Jesus Christ still hadn't taken my soul, I decided to take matters into my own hands by driving myself off a cliff and into the ocean." Two tears rolled down his cheeks, and he wiped them away with his sleeve.
Judith was shocked and saddened. "Oh, Paul," she whispered. Feeling tears in her eyes, she gently touched Paul's arm.
Paul sniffled a little. "When Dina found out what I was planning to do, she threw her arms around my neck and begged me not to do it. She said she'd go over the cliff with me if I went through with it. It was at that moment that I decided that I wanted to live. You see, my break-up and my depression were storms in my life, but then when you came into my life, it was like a rainbow coming out after a storm."
Judith threw her arms around Paul's neck. "I'm so glad!" she whispered. Paul put one of his arms around Judith as he continued to hold Dina with his other arm. He felt extremely comforted to be in Judith's arms. She was the most compassionate young lady he had ever met. Their tears fell onto one another's shirts. They pulled away from one another for a minute. Paul looked into Judith's eyes, leaned forward, and gently kissed her on the lips. One kiss led to another, and they kissed for ten minutes.
