'Tis the season to find a reason
To rid yourself from the treason
Get away from the self sabotage and hateful thoughts
That plague your mind through what depression brought

Find the silver lining that opens to hope
That definitively denies the doubts telling them NOPE
Not today, not this time... they're not in control anymore
It's time to let yourself once again explore

Get back to a sense of happiness and innocence
Press forward toward the goals that once gave you ambitiousness
Unveil the real conqueror within that doesn't settle for failure
Who overcomes the problems with solutions and grandeur

Someone that no longer views issues as a breaking point
Rather a stepping stone to learn and grow reaching a checkpoint
A place that allows you to reflect on what you've accomplished
The things you've built and what's to come next to make you more polished

Acquire the intangibles to see who it is you're truly meant to be
Someone who puts one foot in front of the other steadfastly
Marching toward the unique purpose only you can fulfill
Living the life that is your sole existence with confidence instilled
